Before I leave this morning for Shanghai, I couldn't wait to send you a quick thank-note and photo expressing our appreciation for your hospitality yesterday——and to congratulate you all again for what you are doing with the DENG FENG GOLDEN EDITION.

今天早上去上海之前，我迫不及待地给你们发一封感谢信和照片，以表达我们对你们热情款待的感激之情——并且再次为你们所做的登封金版向你们表示祝贺。

It is truly a pioneering and wonderful example of Community Journalism. You are all doing fine work, and I am sure, many other cities in China will look to your newspaper as a shining light, leading the way to a new type of journalism.

As you can see for yourself in this photograph, we are all excited about the Golden Edition and what you are doing. Prof Chen Kai and I want to encourage you to use our visit to motivate you further. We hope to see you again next year.
